I started my Mirror OOTD series back in January when I moved into my sublet in Boston for the semester. For the first time in a while, I had a full-length mirror that would make it easy for me to show outfits that maybe weren't great enough for a full shoot, but I still wanted to share. It also felt much more personable, like I was taking a quick selfie to send to a friend than going around the city for the perfect picture to share on my blog.
And with this outfit for my goodbye dinner in Boston with two of my best friends, here is my final Mirror OOTD... at least for now, unless I move into an apartment and get an amazing full length mirror. Regardless, this is the final one in the city where it started.
Yesterday, I moved out of Boston after five years. Given my experiences throughout college, which I talked a bit about here, I didn't exactly spend all of those five years in Boston, but it was still home. It was still the place that I always knew I would return to, no matter where I was spending that semester. It was and is the place where most of my college friends are and where we made some of our best memories. But, now that I've graduated and will be working in New York City, it was time to say goodbye.
I wore my new off-the-shoulder top from Mango Rabbit that I am absolutely obsessed with. It comes as a co-ord set, but the matching shorts are a bit too small on me, so I paired it with my favorite skirt instead. We went for a fun dinner at a place we hadn't tried yet because Boston is just full of too many good restaurants and then took a walk along the harbor. It's definitely hard to say goodbye, knowing that I won't be living in Boston just a walk away from my best friends, but it's at least comforting to know that New York and Boston are only a 4-hr bus ride apart.
